Earlier, it was expected that we will get this vehicle in mid of September but due to unforeseen reasons, the company delayed the launch. Now, we are here with a huge update about its launch as well as expected price of this new Honda HR-V.

Expected Launch
As per our sources, the company has invited its dealers this weekend (October 15, 2022) to see the new Honda HR-V at Honda factory. The sources further claimed that after this event, the car will be launched in the next week. It means the launch is only a couple of weeks away.
Expected Price of Honda HR-V
Along with the launch details, our sources have also shared the expected price of the new car. As we have told you, the company will launch two variants, i.e., petrol and hybrid. As per details, the petrol variant will come with 1.5L Naturally Aspirated engine, while the hybrid variant will be launched after a few months as a Completely Built Unit (CBU).
So, the sources have told us that the prices of these two variants could range from Rs. 62 lacs to 70 lacs. And it is not hard to guess that petrol variant would cost Rs. 62 lacs, while hybrid CBU variant will have the price tag of Rs. 70 lacs.
And if our sources are right, then we think that these are quite reasonable prices and will give a tough competition to already existing crossovers.

Are We Getting Honda HR-V In Pakistan?
An exciting news for Honda HR-V lovers, or maybe not; we are not sure as yet. But anyway, here is it, a test unit of a car has been spotted on local roads. The pictures show a totally wrapped crossover SUV, and it doesn’t give any hint which car it is. Although the number plate is visible, but Excise website shows that registration of this specific car is still in process.
What We Think!?
So, the question arises, which car is this? By the looks of it, it is a test unit. So, we decided to do some of our own research and discussion. And as per our opinion, it could be Honda HR-V. Now, you may ask how we reached this conclusion? Here is our explanation.
After cross-checking the photos, we think that the rear pillar, spoiler, and alloy wheel design match the Honda HR-V. But, once again, it is speculation, and we may be wrong. There is no official confirmation by Honda. However, our sources told us earlier that Honda Atlas is planning to launch two vehicles this year; the first one is a BR-V, and the second one is, most probably, HR-V.

One important thing to remember is that Honda HR-V’s latest generation has been revealed in the US, and it will be launched by the end of this year. So, this spotted unit – if it is HR-V – is not that one; rather, it is a different vehicle.

Upcoming Honda HR-V Spotted In Pakistan
Honda Atlas Car Limited (HACL) is ready to pitch its new crossover SUV in the local auto market. Interestingly, the company has already teased it during the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS 2022).
And, when the Honda lovers were anxiously waiting for the all-new HR-V (Vezel), a video circulated on social media platforms fostered the situation. In the video, a car is spotted on the local road. Meaning, Honda Atlas is all set to launch its new crossover SUV in the market.
The car would carry the capacity to compete the other vehicles of its category, including Kia Stonic, Chery Tiggo 4 Pro, Peugeot 2008, and MG ZS.
Honda HR-V International
Honda launched the latest HR-V – also known as Vezel in Japan – in 2021. Its main competitors in the global market are Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tucson, Toyota C-HR, and Corolla Cross. Furthermore, the car is available in different engine options, including Hybrid-electric one.

Honda HR-V 2022 Overview
Honda HR-V is a subcompact crossover SUV manufactured by the automobile manufacturer Honda.
The first generation of the Honda HR-V was launched in 1999. It came in three-door and five-door variants and was only launched in Europe and select Asian countries. The first generation Honda HR-V went on to be sold till 2006, after which it was discontinued.
In 2013, the HR-V made a comeback with its second generation. The second-generation Honda HR-V was based on the model of the third-generation Honda Fit. The car was launched in North America, Australia, Brazil, and select Asian markets. It was also marketed under the name of Honda Vezel.
The third-generation Honda HR-V was split into two nameplates. It is sold as Vezel in the global market and in Japan. While it will be sold as Honda ZR-V and is based on the eleventh-generation Honda Civic.
Honda calls its vehicle the HR-V, which stands for “Hi-rider Revolutionary Vehicle,” and its counterpart the Vezel, which is derived from “bezel”, the oblique faces of a cut gem, with the “V” for “vehicle”.
